Red Mountain Resort, Western Canadaís oldest ski resort. Visitors to Red can choose from 83 runs spread across two stellar mountains that feature everything from wide-open groomers to steep, powder-filled bowls. Red has received the honor of being voted Canadaís Best Tree Skiing 3 years running by Ski Canada Magazine, and with more than 1,585 skiable acres and 800 meters (2,900 feet) of vertical terrain serviced by 6 total lifts, there's a lot to explore at Red. Rossland and Red Mountain Resort is accessible by luxury shuttle by way of the Spokane, WA (2 hours) and Kelowna, BC (3 hours) Intíl Airports.

Voted recently as Canada's best ski town by Ski Canada Magazine, Rossland is widely known for its rugged outdoor adventure and small-town warmth and hospitality, something that extends seamlessly into Redís friendly reservations and visitors-services staff at the ready to help with inside tips on Redís "secret stash" powder or the best place to enjoy a gourmet meal in Rossland. This unique combination of visitor assets has already made Red and Rossland a "must-visit" among North American travelers seeking to enjoy the best that British Columbiaís natural surroundings have to offer.

Rossland, which claims just 3,500 year-round residents, has been considered for decades something of a "best kept secret" among skiers and boarders who come to Red for its bountiful powder, varied terrain and uncrowded slopes. But recently, this area has begun a progressive, positive transformation that is already raising Redís reputation ó and that of Rossland ó as one of the top winter-time and off-season destinations among recreational and casual travelers from around the world.

To that end, in 2005 Red started a 15-year resort development effort that will provide visitors up to 1,400 ski-in/ski-out resort residences as well as a host of restaurants, retail shops and other commercial services and on-mountain family-oriented activities at the base of Red Mountain. 2,600 of future ski terrain at Red Resort. Redís flagship residential development, Slalom Creek, is set to open this season as well. The 150,000-square-foot, steel and concrete, 2-building luxury condominium project being created at Redís base area boasts 67 beautifully appointed suites perfectly situated for ski-in ski-out convenience.
